Nexus Radio is an absolutely free desktop application which streams thousands of free radio stations onto your computer. Although, haven't heard of many of the stations on offer quite yet, there's a good selection in all music genres and you will easily find radio to listen to with this application. It's a really nice looking program that I really like since it loads quickly and is eye-catching. It loads from the Windows desktop requiring nothing more from your PC than just a few mouse clicks and hopefully you have an Internet connection to reach it. The application will also work flawlessly on any version of Windows and works flawlessly with any background colour.
After downloading and installing the Nexus Radio application onto your computer, you can browse through the various radio stations available on the internet and choose one to add to your current radio list. Once added, you can browse through any current recordings to find a show that you would like to listen to and play it straight from your hard drive. The good thing about this application is that the radio stations are constantly updated with new songs which are all stored in your computer's database. If you don't want to listen to a station that's on now and then, you can always switch it off and have it come back again at a later date. This application really adds some spice to my everyday life, and its great having such an easy to use software for such a low cost.
To get the software application, all you have to do is download the zip file containing the program along with the installation instructions. Installation is simple and quick and you should be up and running in a matter of minutes. Simply download the zip file and install it to your PC, then open up the Nexus Radio website to sign up for the free account which will give you access to the different radio stations. After signing up for the account, simply download the latest free version of the software, install it onto your PC and you're ready to listen live to any music you want - without paying a dime! I really like this application and think that all future versions of it should be free to download.
